투르 드 경남 2025 국제도로사이클대회에 참석하신 모든 분들께 이 메시지를 전하게 되어 매우 기쁘게 생각합니다.

 작년 전국 규모로 처음 개최된 이 스테이지 레이스는 경상남도 남해안의 통영, 거제, 남해, 창원을 거치며 펼쳐진 것으로 알고 있습니다. 

이 대회는 사이클을 통한 문화행사와 관광명소를 연계함으로써 스포츠와 관광이 어우러진 새로운 형태의 문화적 이벤트를 만드는 것이라 생각합니다.

올해부터 사천이 포함된5일간의 도로사이클대회가 UCI 아시아 투어에 합류하게 된 것을 매우 기쁘게 생각합니다.

 UCI 도로사이클대회는 전 세계적으로 우리 스포츠의 발전에 있어 매우 중요한 역할을 하고 있습니다.
이러한 대회들은 국내 팀의 선수들이 해외 선수들과 경쟁하며 실력을 겨룰 수 있는 기회를 제공할 뿐만 아니라, 

국제적인 펠로톤이 새로운사이클링 지역을 탐험할 수 있는 계기를 마련해 줍니다. 

또한 지역 주민들에게는 수준 높은 경기를 직접 관람할 수 있는 훌륭한 기회가 되기도 합니다.

 투르 드 경남 2025 국제도로사이클대회는 올해도 아름다운 자연과 야생 생태, 문화유산 및 보호지역을 지나며 5일간의 레이스를 펼치게됩니다.

이 멋진 여정에 참여하게 된 모든 이들에게 감사의 마음을 전하며, 이 대회를 성공적으로 개최해 주신 경상남도와 대한사이클연맹(KCF)에깊은 감사를 드립니다.
또한 여러 지자체와 후원사, 협력 파트너 여러분의 헌신적인 노력에도 감사드리며, 

선수들이 최고의 환경에서 경기를 치를 수 있도록 기꺼이 시간을 내어 도와주시는 많은 자원봉사자분들께도 진심으로 고마움을 전합니다.

저는 이번 투르 드 경남이 한국 사이클링 발전에 더욱 크게 기여하리라 확신합니다.

 마지막으로, 6월 4일부터 8일까지 열리는 이번 대회에 참여하는 모든 분들의 건승을 기원합니다.

 It is an enormous pleasure to send this message to everyone at the 2025 Tour de Gyeongnam.

 Held for the first time last year at national level, this stage race took the riders across four cities and counties 

along the southern coast of South Korea: Tongyeong, Geoje, Namhae, and Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do. 

The aim was to create a new cultural competition combining sports and tourism thanks to the promotion of cultural events 

and touristic attractions along the race route.

I am delighted that this year the five-day event joins the UCI Asia Tour. 

 Our UCI Continental Circuits are extremely important for the development of our sport across the world. 

Events on these calendars provide opportunities for athletes from domestic teams to measure up against competitors from abroad, 

and at the same time enable the international peloton to discover new cycling territories. 

They are also wonderful occasions for local populations to witness high-quality racing.

 Tour de Gyeongnam will again comprise five days of racing through areas of wildlife and natural beauty, 

as well as historical sites and reserves. It will be a magnificent journey for all involved, and I take this opportunity to thank the organisers Gyeongsangnam-do and the Korea Cycling Federation (KCF) for creating this event. 

A great many local authorities, sponsors and other partners also have a significant part to play in the success of this international stage race, 

and my gratitude also goes to them as well as the many volunteers who willingly give up their time to ensure the athletes can compete 

in the best possible conditions. I am convinced that the Tour de Gyeongnam will further contribute to the development of cycling in South Korea.
